Bio:Warrick Dunn was born on January 5, 1975 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After playing three positions in high school (running back, quarterback, and corner back), Dunn became the star running back at Florida State University (FSU). He is the only FSU player to rush for over 1,000 yards for three straight years and is FSU’s all-time leading rusher with 3,959 yards. A three-time All-Atlantic Coast Conference player, Dunn helped lead his team to a national title in 1993.
Dunn entered the NFL Draft in 1997 and was selected 12th overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He won Offensive Rookie of the Year honors with over 1,400 total offensive yards (978 rushing, 462 receiving) and 7 total touchdowns. Dunn spent his first five seasons with Tampa Bay, rushing for over 1,000 yards twice. Since 2002 he has spent his career with the Atlanta Falcons, rushing for over 1,000 yards three times including a career high 1,416 yards in 2005. Dunn has career totals of 9,461 rushing yards, 43 rushing touchdowns, 3,771 receiving yards, and 15 receiving touchdowns.
